One Room Challenge: Week Five

Holy moly! It’s week five of the One Room Challenge y’all. This just got real. Just like I predicted, I’m in full on panic mode but the room is coming together. Not only am I super excited to have my own office but I CANNOT wait to see all the spaces that will be shared next week in the final reveal.

So I totally bailed on posting an update last week because I really didn’t have anything new to share. But this week I have been on a mission and I’ve got almost everything I need to finish this room.

If you follow me on Instagram then you know how excited I was to find this light fixture.

It’s a lot like the one that I fell in love with at One Kings Lane. But this one, at only $39.00, was in the budget. While I think it’s too small to hang as the main light source I do think it’s perfect to hang over the nook with the window seat. Now lets talk about this hardware I found at Hobby Lobby.

I’m using these beautiful babies to update a dresser. It’s one of my most favorite pieces of furniture ever but it needed a little change and these handles are perfect for the job.

I had also been on the lookout for some botanical prints for this room and I couldn’t believe my luck when I found the perfect pair of prints at a thrift store. I love the dark moody feel and vintage vibe.

The only thing I need now is something for the windows. Just struggling a little with exactly what I want to do. Since I’m planning on photographing this room on Sunday, I’m going to have to make a decision. Like, tomorrow. See you next week for the final reveal!
